Broke down with first use

I bought this shovel awhile ago for use when in the car. The first time I used it the weld that holds the blade to the handle popped out. I know I could not put that much force on it due to medical issues.I was very, very disappointed with this product. I remember my Grandmother having a shovel just like this, and it was used for years. I know quality is different from my childhood, but I did expect to use this for more than 1/2 of a shovel full.

Nice little shovel

Bought a couple of these to throw in my two cars for winter. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality - should work well to dig out the car in an emergency. They fold small enough to throw in my tool bag. Plan to buy a couple more. Nice product.

Sure you could pay 4 times the price and get a much better quality folding shovel, but for the price...it is an excellent buy.
